This is at least few workshops telling me that it is not that important but my tyres have all the SIRIM chop. :) I think for me as long as it has the DOT or E-mark is good for me! But I could be wrong...<br /><br />Ya, check for the grooves too. The grooves can tell you whether you need to change or whether your car need to do alignment.
